People ask me why I want to be mayor.
Here’s the short answer:

  • I love Frenchtown and I believe that by working together we can make it even better.
  • I want taxes to be spent wisely, not by whim — by community consent, not by dictum.
  • I see that the divisions in our community hold us back — I can bring us together.
  • I mistrust government and I believe it should be more transparent.
  • I believe people value a leader who speaks directly and honestly, even when the news is bad.
  • I resent government intrusion — I’ll fight county and state officials who impose unfunded mandates.

  • This campaign website is the long answer. I’ll be adding my thoughts on a variety of municipal concerns as well as input from residents, property owners, business owners and people who work in town. So please visit often — and make it a conversation. Voice your concerns. Share your ideas. Or just add photos and announcements of happenings around town between now and Nov. 8, Election Day.
